The Baltimore Ravens have ruled Marlon Humphrey as active for their AFC title game matchup against the Kansas City Chiefs, the team announced on Sunday.

Humphrey has not played since he suffered a calf injury during the first half of the Ravens’ home game against the Miami Dolphins last month. The nagging ailment forced him to sit out Baltimore’s last two games and also 10 straight practice sessions.

Humphrey made his long-awaited return to practice on Wednesday, where he was a limited participant on the day. The veteran cornerback was also limited in practice on Thursday.

Humphrey noted after Thursday’s practice that it was "rough" not being able to play in Baltimore’s previous two contests.

The Ravens cleared Humphrey to feature in the entirety of their practice session on Friday, which played into their final call to list him as questionable against the Chiefs.

Humphrey took part in a pre-game workout ahead of the AFC title game, and he came away from it with no setbacks regarding his calf injury. The Ravens ultimately gave him the green light to play against Kansas City.

The Ravens are looking to advance to the Super Bowl for the first time since the 2012 season.
