The Baltimore Ravens and Pittsburgh Steelers have as heated of a rivalry as there is in the NFL today. Well, some more fuel is close to being added to that fire.

Cornerback Arthur Maulet, who spent the last two seasons with the Pittsburgh Steelers, is on the verge of inking a deal with the Ravens.

Maulet went undrafted out of Memphis in 2017 before signing with the New Orleans Saints. He was waived a year later before being picked up by the Indianapolis Colts who waived him after only two months on the roster. Maulet was brought back by the Saints in November of 2018.

In January 2019, Maulet signed a reserve/future contract with the New York Jets. A year later, he re-signed with the team.

Maulet essentially got his NFL legs under him with the Jets as he played in 23 games with 11 starts (752 snaps). He would register 67 tackles, two interceptions, and seven pass breakups.

In Pittsburgh, Maulet started eight of the 33 games he played in (860 snaps) and tallied 106 tackles, an interception, four pass breakups, two forced fumbles, and two sacks.

In addition to Maulet's experience in the slot, he's also logged 399 snaps as an outside cornerback and 114 at free safety, and there's always room for versatility.

Maulet has gotten some quality NFL experience despite not being a big-name player and he could end up being a sneaky good add to the Ravens roster once this deal gets finalized.
