The Baltimore Ravens have squared off with several dynamic offenses through the early stages of the 2023 season. Baltimore's defense will have another unique challenge coming up in Week 7, as they will face the Detroit Lions' high-octane offense.

Ravens pass rusher Jadeveon Clowney has kept a close watch on the Lions this season, and he sees that the current NFC North leaders boast quite a well-rounded offense.

"Yes, by far," Clowney said ahead of Week 7 when asked whether the Lions boast the "best offense" that Baltimore will play so far this year. "… Their run game has been very, very dominating so far. They're getting a lot of turnovers. They play with the lead, and it's easy for you to play with the lead.

“It's going to come down to us up front like I said — dominate the line of scrimmage and get after the quarterback."

The Lions enter Week 7 ranking in the top 10 in all of the NFL in multiple offensive stats, including points per game (28.0). Detroit, who is led by offensive coordinator Ben Johnson, is picking up where it left off from last season when it notched a 26.6 points per game average.

As with Clowney, Ravens defensive back Brandon Stephens is much looking forward to meeting Detroit's potent offense in Week 7.

"We've played some tough guys already," Stephens said ahead of Week 7. "Are they the toughest we'll face? We'll see on Sunday. I don't want to give too much praise before we play them already, but we respect those guys. It should be a good game."

The Ravens are aiming to move to a 5-2 record for the first time since the 2021 season.
