The speculation has continued to grow regarding running back Derrick Henry’s future with the Tennessee Titans. The three-time Pro Bowler has been linked with a few teams ahead of the upcoming NFL trade deadline, including the Baltimore Ravens.

Despite this trade chatter, Ravens running backs Gus Edwards and Justice Hill each managed to shut off the outside noise and orchestrate an efficient performance against the Arizona Cardinals.

Edwards led Baltimore’s rushing attack in Week 8, tallying 80 rushing yards and three touchdowns. Hill did not factor much into Baltimore’s game plan on the ground, although he did blossom as a safety blanket for Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson. Hill hauled in four receptions for 40 receiving yards in the contest.

Ravens head coach John Harbaugh has all the confidence in the world in the team’s running backs group at this point in the season.

"We’re confident in Gus [Edwards]," Harbaugh said during his postgame press conference. "We’re confident in Justice [Hill]. Obviously, we want to get our guy back, Keaton [Mitchell] and get healthy with that.

"… Yes, we like our running backs a lot."

Even with J.K. Dobbins no longer in the fold this year due to his season-ending torn Achilles injury, the Ravens still boast one of the more dynamic rush offenses in the NFL today. Baltimore currently ranks third in rushing yards per game with a 143.1 average.

Baltimore came away with a 31-24 win over the Cardinals to move to a 6-2 record on the season.
