As was the case last year, Baltimore Ravens safety Geno Stone will hit free agency in March.

The Ravens did not take much time in coming to a resolution on Stone’s future with the team last year. The Ravens and Stone agreed to a one-year, $1.76 million deal during the first week of last year’s free agency period.

Stone bolstered his market value this past year. The Ravens called on Stone to fill in for Marcus Williams in their road matchup against the Cincinnati Bengals, and the former Iowa standout did not look back from there. He went on to post career highs across the board in the 2023 season, from total tackles (68) to interceptions (seven).

On Kyle Hamilton's part, he is hoping to see Stone stay put with the Ravens for two key reasons.

"I would love to have Geno back in Baltimore for selfish and team reasons," Hamilton said on the "Punch Line with Marlon Humphrey" podcast.

As for Stone, he is open to all options in free agency this year.

"It's something I'll have to talk to my agent, and we'll talk with teams about," Stone said last month. "I'm not going to think about it right now. At the end of the day, I know where my value is and stuff like that, but it is what it is. I appreciate this organization. My role is my role here, and whatever options I have next, whatever it is — if I'm here or not here or somewhere else – at the end of the day, I'll still be me."

Stone ranked fourth among all Ravens players in snaps played on defense (951) this past season.
