The Houston Texans had no answer for Baltimore Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson on the ground in the AFC divisional round.

Jackson tallied 100 rushing yards on a 9.1 yards per rush attempt average in Baltimore’s 34-10 win on the day. He also scored a pair of rushing touchdowns in the contest.

Whether it was in designed runs or scrambles out of the pocket, the Texans had quite a difficult time slowing down Jackson.

Jackson now boasts a 93.4 rushing yards per game average in his postseason career, which is the fifth-highest such mark among qualified players in NFL history, as noted by NFL Gameday on X.

Jackson has rushed for at least 100 yards in three out of his five playoff games, which include a 136 rushing yards outing in the Ravens’ AFC wild-card round win over the Tennessee Titans in the 2020 season.

Jackson and the Ravens will next square off with the Kansas City Chiefs in this season’s AFC title game. The sixth-year passer boasts a 75.8 rushing yards per game average in his career against the Chiefs.
