Baltimore Ravens have plenty of work left to do after they exited the playoffs earlier than they wanted to just a couple of months ago.

One issue that currently strands is their edge rusher depth. Jadeveon Clowney is a free agent and is trending toward leaving in free agency, it appears

Clowney was one of the better signings for the Rabens last go around and tied a career-high in sacks with 9.5 of them. After coming over from the Cleveland Browns and recording just two sacks in 2022, Clowney turned things back around the right way with Baltimore.

If he is to leave the Ravens, it does not look like he is going far. The Jets are a team that will want to take a big step with Aaron Rodgers back and trying to replace Bryce Huff with one of the better players left on the market shows that.

The Ravens are set up to need to draft an edge rusher early on in the draft next month. Perhaps they’ll take a swing on a guy like Darius Robinson at the end of the first round.

Currently, it would be Odafe Oweh and David Ojabo as the top two ends for the Ravens. They are interested in Clowney coming back, but they not be able to pay him what New York or another team can.

Clowney traditionally takes a while to sign in free agency, though this year could be trending toward an earlier contract before the draft.
