Baltimore Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson was named the winner of the 2023 AP NFL MVP award at the 13th annual "NFL Honors" awards show.

Jackson received 49 out of 50 first-place votes for the NFL MVP award.

Jackson previously won the NFL MVP honor back in the 2019 season. The sixth-year passer tallied 43 total touchdowns and led Baltimore to both the No. 1 seed in the AFC and the AFC North title in the campaign.

With Jackson taking home his second NFL MVP, he joined Pro Football Hall of Fame running back Jim Brown to become the only players in NFL history to win the prestigious honor multiple times before their age-27 season, as noted by Pro Football Focus’ official X account.

Brown finished his career with three NFL MVP award wins. Pro Football Hall of Fame quarterback Peyton Manning holds the record for the most NFL MVP award wins with an astounding five.
