Ahead of their Week 1 matchup to kick off the 2024 NFL season, the Baltimore Ravens are making some notable roster moves and practice squad elevations.

They are making the most of their depth chart for a big-time AFC clash with the Kansas City Chiefs. Both the offense and defense are undergoing some adjustments for the Ravens.

Ravens place rookie running back Rasheen Ali on IR

Baltimore also signed linebacker Josh Ross to their 53-man roster to replace Ali's roster spot. Their practice squad elevations to the active roster were running back John Kelly and cornerback Ka'dar Hollman.

Ian Rapport was the first to report all of these moves.

Kelly has been a depth RB for during his first five years in the NFL. He's averaged three yards per rushing attempts in his career. Kelly will slot in behind Derrick Henry and Justice Hill in Baltimore's backfield.

Ross is listed as the seventh linebacker on the depth chart for the Ravens in Week 1. I would not expect him to get any time on defense against KC, but he may take special teams snaps.

All in all, a handful of depth moves for the Ravens just hours before they spark a new beginning for the NFL.
