In this film breakdown, we take a look at Ravens rookie center Tyler Linderbaum.
Linderbaum is an undersized player, but a fantastic athlete who has put a lot of fantastic reps on tape this season. He struggles in pass pro, like most rookies do, but he excels in the run game, and has the potential to be a very complete center. The Ravens offensive scheme is not geared to his strengths, yet he still grades as one of the best centers in the NFL, regardless of experience.

Tyler Linderbaum came from an Iowa Hawkeyes team that ran outside zone more often than any other team in college football and was drafted by the Ravens who almost never run outside zone. Although Linderbaum may not fit perfectly in the Ravens offense, his athleticism has allowed him to adjust. Linderbaum is an excellent pass blocker one on one, but needs to improve when facing stunts.
