Week 14 went just how the Baltimore Ravens had hoped it would go.
The Ravens were the lone division leader in the AFC who came away from the week with a win. The Jacksonville Jaguars were on the losing end in their game against the Cleveland Browns on Sunday, while the Kansas City Chiefs suffered a home loss to the Buffalo Bills. To top it all off, the Miami Dolphins blew a 14-point lead in their 28-27 home defeat to the Tennessee Titans.
On the Ravens’ part, they secured a 37-31 overtime win over the Los Angeles Rams. Thanks to the Ravens’ dramatic victory on Sunday, they will enter Week 15 holding the No. 1 seed in the AFC.
If the season were to end today, the Ravens would receive the lone bye in the AFC. The Dolphins, who currently hold the No. 2 seed in the conference, would be squaring off with the Indianapolis Colts in the AFC wild-card round.
The Ravens will look to move to an 11-3 record on the season in their upcoming road matchup against the Jaguars.
