The AFC Playoff Picture is beginning to crystallize with five weeks remaining, and the Baltimore Ravens are a firm part of the hunt. Baltimore trails the Pittsburgh Steelers by 1.5 games in the AFC North and holds the sixth seed in the current postseason bracket.

If you were to look at the latest Super Bowl LIX odds after Week 13, you could be convinced they're in an even better spot. tells us a different story.

DraftKings, FanDuel, BetMGM, and bet365 all give the Ravens the third-best odds out of any AFC to win what would be their third Super Bowl title, and the fifth-best odds in the entire NFL. Only the Buffalo Bills, Detroit Lions, Kansas City Chiefs, and Philadelphia Eagles have better chances according to all four sportsbooks.

The Ravens are fresh off losing to one of those teams this past weekend. The Eagles managed to keep a high-powered Ravens offense in check on Sunday, and running back Saquon Barkley continued his dark horse MVP campaign to cap off a 24-19 victory.

Nevertheless, Baltimore has the best offense in the league in terms of EPA/play and are the best 8-5 team since 1979 in terms of DVOA.

The Ravens have an MVP candidate of their own in Lamar Jackson. The reigning MVP is in the running for back-to-back victories behind Barkley and consensus favorite Josh Allen of the Buffalo Bills. Those odds will improve if the Ravens can bounce back from this weekend.

It would be tough for the Ravens to win the whole thing without even hosting a playoff game during Wild Card Weekend, but that's what they'd have to do if the postseason started now. Baltimore's only competition towards the AFC North title is Pittsburgh. The two teams met in Week 11 in what was an 18-16 victory for the Steelers. The second game will be a home game for the Ravens in Week 16 on December 21.

A win for Ravens that week would greatly impact their chances at securing a division title and an easier path towards the Super Bowl.

Even if they're outside the top five in the current AFC standings, there remains plenty of faith towards the Ravens outlasting everyone else when it's all said and done.
