The Baltimore Ravens wasted quite a golden opportunity in Week 10.
With a home win over the Cleveland Browns, the Ravens would have moved up to the No. 1 seed in the AFC. Instead, the Browns played the role of spoiler to split the regular season series with Baltimore.
The Ravens head into Week 11 still holding the No. 2 seed in the AFC. With the Miami Dolphins on their bye week and with the Jacksonville Jaguars’ loss to the San Francisco 49ers, Baltimore did not move out of its No. 2 spot in the conference despite its home defeat to Cleveland.
The Kansas City Chiefs, who are on their bye week, still sit atop the AFC standings with a 7-2 record.
If the season were to end today, Baltimore would face the Houston Texans in the AFC wild-card round. The Texans currently hold the No. 7 seed in the AFC, as rookie quarterback C.J. Stroud has guided Houston to two straight wins.
The Ravens are now looking ahead to another AFC North showdown, as they will host the Cincinnati Bengals in Week 11. The two teams last met in Week 2 when the Ravens came away with a 27-24 win.
