Bills’ full 2026 slate of games is now known, and the list of opponents makes for an intriguing season
The 2026 slate of opponents is finally here, and it makes for an interesting challenge.
The NFL regular season has officially wrapped, with the Buffalo Bills falling short of their ultimate goal of bringing home another AFC East crown. Instead, the Bills finished second in their division. With Week 18 concluding at the end of the Baltimore Ravens-Pittsburgh Steelers matchup, the Bills already know what teams they will face in the 2026 season.
As tradition dictates, the schedule is always based on divisions, meaning Buffalo will face the Patriots, Jets, and Dolphins twice each, both at home and away. This upcoming season, the Bills will play against the entire AFC West and NFC North. Since Buffalo placed second in its division, it will be playing the second-place teams in the AFC South and NFC West.
With the Bills playing nine home games in the 2025 season, the 2026 schedule changes to nine on the road and eight at home. This yearly rotation means that in 2027, Buffalo will get nine home games and eight away games.

Before we can get to the 2026 season, the Bills have some work to do in the NFL playoffs. With the No. 6 seed, Buffalo is traveling to Jacksonville to take on the Jaguars in the opening round.
Buffalo continues the longest active streak in the NFL, making the postseason for seven straight seasons. Though the Bills have yet to bring home the Lombardi Trophy, there’s hope from the fan base that this year can be their year. The window remains wide open, but belief must turn into results. Seven straight playoff trips are impressive, but now the Bills need to make this one count.
With the opponents now set, the only thing left to determine is when each matchup will take place when the NFL officially unveils the 2026 schedule.
