Stefon Diggs always says what's on his mind. And that typically occurs on social media.

So when one fan took a swipe at him on X, formerly known as Twitter, on Tuesday night, the Buffalo Bills wide receiver didn't hesitate to respond.

However, with that, it also appeared he took a shot at quarterback Josh Allen.

The situation began when Robert Griffin III posted a video captioned, "is Stefon Diggs essential to Josh Allen’s success?" And Griffin III's answer was clear: "He is."

However, one fan responded, giving Diggs credit for his skills, but also said that Allen doesn't necessarily need him.

"Does Josh benefit from having a top tier receiver, yes. Is he essential to his success, no," the fan wrote on X.

Diggs response was simple, but it said enough: "You sure ?"

Diggs never shies away from these type of tweets, known for posting cryptic comments. And this is just the latest.

But it's fairly easy for people to get the sense that this one comes at the expense of the Bills quarterback. However, with Diggs, you just never know.

Allen was drafted by the Bills in the first round of the 2018 NFL Draft, and spent two seasons in Buffalo before Diggs was brought in.

In his first year, he had 169 completions for 2,074 passing yards and 10 passing touchdowns, followed by 271 completions for 3,089 passing yards and 20 passing touchdowns in his second year.

However, when Diggs came in from Minnesota, Allen's numbers skyrocketed.

Throughout the past four seasons, he has over 350 completions and is over 4,000 passing yards with more than 30 touchdowns each year (except for the 2023 season when he finished with 29 — so close enough).

And Diggs has had eight or more touchdowns each season, so it's clear he has certainly helped on that front.

But that being said, Diggs wouldn't be able to get into the end zone without Allen throwing him dimes and connecting with him on a regular basis. So the quarterback does deserve plenty of credit as well.

Basically, the two are incredible together and their skills shouldn't be put down in favor of the other.
