The Buffalo Bills general manager finally discussed the offseason rumors surrounding DeAndre Hopkins.

Arizona Cardinals' superstar wide reciever is reportedly available, via trade. The development took Bills Mafia by storm, causing a whirlwind on social media.

Quickly it was reported that Buffalo was the front-runner to land Hopkins. Then, an Instagram post from Hopkins where "Buffalo" was mentioned promptly took the internet by storm.

The Hopkins to Buffalo rumors have been alive and well. Now, Brandon Beane has opened up on what's going down. Well, sort of.

While being interviewed by Bills beat reporter at Syracuse.com, Matt Parrino, the Buffalo Bills general manager opened up briefly on the Hopkins rumors.

Speaking directly to the social media firestorm, Beane was direct: "social media is social media, don't take that too far."

Speaking on another talented reciever, Beane discussed how the front office is always looking to improve the roster. "You know me, when we've talked about OBJ…we're always going to look for talent.

While not denying looking at Hopkins, Beane took another approach. Brandon Beane and the Bills front office like to keep things incredibly tight-lipped, his response was no different. "We're going to look for anything and everything."

Again, while not outright denying or accepting the rumors, Beane showcased why he is one of the very best NFL general managers. "Our name gets thrown into the hat a lot of things that sometimes we've done 1%, one person made one call and they've looped us in that we're all over them and we've offered them a contract."

Right now it appears that there is no movement with the DeAndre Hopkins to Buffalo rumors. However, we never know what's going on behind the scenes. Beane admitted last year to be interested in OBJ and will always look for ways to improve the roster.

If the price is right, Brandon Beane will jump. The Von Miller decision last season showcases that the front office isn't scared to make a splash signing, despite claiming against it.

We have a feeling this isn't the last time we will hear Beane talk about DeAndre Hopkins.
