The Buffalo Bills made a last-second splash by bringing in the veteran CB from the Packers, Rasul Douglas. Brandon Beane and the front office shipped off a third-round pick for Douglas in exchange for the player and a fifth-round pick.

While the trade deadline has closed, it doesn't mean that the Buffalo Bills are done adjusting the roster and looking at ways to improve a defense that has been ravaged by season-ending injury after season-ending injury.

Buffalo Bills general manager Brandon Beane opened up to the media and provided an inside look at the organization, hinting at the team wanting to bring in another name to help specifically with the defensive line in mind.

The Bills general manager offered that, "Nothing is final but we've been working on some stuff" when discussing the options available to them on the defensive tackle position, as Matthew Bove reported.

Unless you've been living under a rock, the Bills previously lost budding star DaQuan Jones for what is believed to be the season with a pec injury. Before his injury, Jones had been dominating and was statistically one of the best defensive tackles in all of football.

Beane isn't quite done yet tinkering with the roster, and he's proven time and time again he's going to make the moves necessary to get this team on the right track to win more football games. Obviously, CB and DT were two of the biggest needs heading into the trade deadline and he already took care of one of those positions.

Who could the Bills target in free agency for the defensive tackle position?

According to Spotrac.com, here are the available free agents at the defensive tackle position that Brandon Beane could target.

  • Michael Brockers
  • Akiem Hicks
  • Chris Wormley
  • Ndamukong Suh
  • Linval Joseph

Personally, we would love to see Beane make a few calls and see the availability of Joseph or Suh, who have plenty left in the tank and could provide a much-needed spark at the position.

Only time will tell, but Beane himself has indicated he's not done quite yet. Fingers crossed they can get a deal done sooner rather than later.
