The Buffalo Bills suffered a scare after Tuesday's practice on as offensive lineman Alec Anderson was taken to the hospital after suffering heat related illness symptoms.
Fortunately for all, the Bills just released a statement with a positive update guaranteed to allow the team to breathe a sigh of relief:
"Bills offensive lineman Alec Anderson is currently recovering in a local hospital after suffering heat related illness symptoms after today’s practice.
The Bills medical team, Brandon Beane and Sean McDermott spoke with Alec by phone a short time ago and he was in good spirits."

No matter the severity, players having to take a trip to the hospital will never be fun. The good news is Anderson is expected to be released from the hospital later this afternoon, per play-by-play announcer Chris Brown.
Anderson, a backup lineman for the Bills, signed with the team as an undrafted free agent in 2022 and has yet to debut in the NFL. He's considered to have a legit chance at making the 53-man roster in what would be his third season on the team.
The Bills have dealt with some health-related punches in the short amount of time that training camp has been going on, particularly at safety where Mike Edwards is week-to-week and Cole Bishop, who left practice on Tuesday with an "arm heavily wrapped," per WIVB's Josh Reed.
