The Buffalo Bills didn't have the end to their season that many expected this year.
Players were frustrated. Coaches were disappointed. Overall, it just wasn't ideal in Buffalo. Changes and additions could be coming across the organization.
As for the coaching staff, there is one piece that they could add to it during this off-season.
Former Bills quarterback Davis Webb is considering moving from the field to the sidelines.
He is thinking about joining a coaching staff during this off-season.
During his NFL career, Webb has been praised for his leadership and knowledge of the game. He hasn't gotten much playing time in the league, but coaches say that his impact reaches past that. That's been the case for Webb on multiple teams, including the Bills.
Buffalo offered him their QBs coach job during last off-season, but he decided to play this past season instead. Now, Webb could be a candidate to join an NFL staff.
Webb played for the New York Giants under former Bills offensive coordinator Brian Daboll this season.
Joe Brady is the current QBs coach for the Bills, but he's gotten interest from some other teams. It's possible that he goes elsewhere to be an offensive coordinator. That would leave an opening for the Bills for Webb.
The Bills would make plenty of season for Webb. They clearly value his expertise and mindset considering they offered him a position last off-season. It is a situation worth monitoring.
