The Buffalo Bills offseason has officially begun. In just a span of a few days after the loss to the Cincinnati Bengals, Buffalo has made their first move.

Surprisingly, Buffalo has parted ways with one of the longer-tenured coaches on the current staff. Bills Mafia has been clamoring for the team to make decisions, and fast.

With available coaches already agreeing to join new teams, the Bills wasted no time to begin regime changes within the organization.

Jim Salgado has been with McDermott since 2017.

Specifically, the coach transitioned from the nickel coach to the safeties coach, and will now be looking for other employment.

This is a potential sign of more moves to come as the team will need to pivot internally in order to reach their ultimate goal. With sky-high expectations, the Bills season came crashing to a screeching halt. Immediately after the loss, fans of the team knew that big changes were happening.

More moves underway for the Bills

The Buffalo Bills are in an unfortunate position with plenty of work to do.

There needs to be more changes to the front office as well as some on-field decisions that could completely reshape this team. Some of the more beloved members of the roster are due for some pretty big paydays that Buffalo simply cannot pull off due to their current cap situation.

Firing a coach just days into the offseason is a good indicator that the team is re-evaluating every single person. It appears that there are very few coaches, players, or staff that are safe.

The first domino has officially fallen as the busy off-season has just begun.

Buckle up, Bills Mafia, things are about to get even more interesting at One Bills Drive.
