The Buffalo Bills are still reeling from their devastating week 1 loss to the New York Jets on Monday Night Football. Aaron Rodgers tore his achilles but the Bills couldn't get the job done in New Jersey.

Immediately after, like many times before, the Bills QB Josh Allen wore the weight of the loss on his shoulders as he should've. It was arguably one of his worst games as a professional as his four turnovers proved costly.

Allen, postgame, went viral with his response as I had written about previously.

Fast forward to today and Bills head coach Sean McDermott opened up to the media. He spent some time talking about his franchise quarterback and didn't hold back. While the message was flooded with optimism, it was clear that he too believes Allen needs to be better.

McDermott understands that Allen has it within him to be a great decision maker which falls in line with being a signal caller in the NFL. He's seen Allen be able to do this before and fully expects him to make those adjustments after the game.

"Everyone deals with their own challenges," McDermott told reporters. "In this case, Josh has a lot of good and we've all seen that. We've seen the talent, we've seen the competitiveness. Everyone has things that they're working on. In this case, Josh is working on these areas of his game and I fully expect him to make the adjustment."

Speaking on Allen and his mistakes, and how the quarterback resets after them, McDermott provided, "To me it's a mental skill. You have to have the ability to reset as quick as possible. If you're mentally hijacked, you're not being the teammate you want to be."

The team will live and die by Josh Allen. The front office and the Bills Mafia are just hoping for fewer games with four turnovers and more games with Allen dominating on the gridiron.

For now, it's onto the Las Vegas Raiders for the home opener.
