Buffalo Bills assistant athletic trainer Denny Kellington received an incredible NFL honor on Thursday night.
Kellington was the trainer who performed life-saving CPR on Bills defensive back Damar Hamlin in January.
On Thursday night, at the 12th annual NFL honors, Kellington learned that he had received a fifth-place NFL MVP Award vote. It was a major sign of respect for the trainer that helped save Hamlin's life on that scary Monday night in Cincinnati.
Hamlin also appeared at the NFL Honors on Thursday night and he delivered one of the most touching moments of the year.
The Buffalo safety appeared on stage with the doctors that took care of him and also helped save his life.

There won't be a better moment in sports this entire year than seeing Hamlin make that speech in front of the doctors that helped save his life.
Hamlin's story is remarkable. And seeing him on that stage is an inspiration. There's no doubt that he's going to make a major impact in the world in the wake of the life-altering moment he suffered in what was supposed to be a routine Monday night game.
