The Buffalo Bills' upcoming contest against the Washington Commanders is set to begin in 90 minutes. They'll have to be worried about the weather as well as rain and wind are in the forecast from tropical storm Ophelia. Right now, it looks as though the weather has calmed down.
Once again, the Buffalo Bills will be without S Damar Hamlin and CB Kaiir Elam as both of them are a healthy scratch for the contest. Let's dive in and take a look at why it's bad news for the Bills Mafia and who else isn't available for the contest.

Observations:
The Buffalo Bills want to continue their winning ways after a 1-1 start to the season. Josh Allen shined in his last performance, earning himself AFC Offensive Player of the Week, and making history along the way.
Sean McDermott and the Bills' front office are keeping Elam and Hamlin off the field, yet again. Things aren't looking great for the former first-round pick. Once again, we won't be able to see Hamlin on the field, a rough day for fans hoping to see him in action.
With the weather forecast not looking so great, expect the team to look to second-year player James Cook to give the team a boost. Cook is currently top-five in the NFL for rushing yards and can be a difference-maker in this matchup. That's if the bad weather arrives, right now, Josh Allen is in shorts warming up, a good sign for the day.
While things may have looked doom and gloom earlier in the week with a slew of key players showing up on the injury report, Buffalo has relatively a full bill of health coming into the contest. Here's hoping it stays that way when the dust has settled and the smoke has cleared and the clock has struck 0:00.
