The newest members of the Buffalo Bills will be activated tonight for the matchup against the Cincinnati Bengals. Buffalo immediately gets a boost in the run-stopping department and in the cornerback room as Rasul Douglas and Linval Joseph will take the field just days after joining the team.

Buffalo is looking for some revenge as kickoff is less than 90 minutes away. Bills Mafia remembers all too well the collapse that the team saw at the hands of the Bengals that resulted in more offseason controversy than we can keep track of.

With Josh Allen and the offense trending in the right direction, and some big-time acquisitions from Brandon Beane and the front office, this has all the makings to be an instant classic. It'll be Joe Burrow and Josh Allen duking it out for the world to see.

Injuries have been a sore spot for this Buffalo Bills team and the inactive report furthers that notion. A couple of key injuries will have Sean McDermott looking to once again deploy his "next-man-up" type approach.

Who is inactive for the Buffalo Bills

  • S Damar Hamlin
  • LB A.J. Klein
  • LB Baylon Spector
  • G Germain Ifedi
  • T Alec Anderson
  • DT Poona Ford

Who is inactive for the Cincinnati Bengals

  • CB DJ Ivey
  • C Trey Hill
  • LB Devin Harper
  • OT D'Ante Smith
  • DT Josh Tupou

Observations

Josh Allen will look to find Dalton Kincaid early and often in this content. Last game, it wasn't the usual suspects who stole the show for the offense. Instead, it was the likes of Kincaid and Khalil Shakir emerging onto the scene that helped the offense get over the hump.

Look for the team to continue to throw some targets their way, along with a more developed route tree for Gabe Davis, who saw a big boost last contest and is something the team will want to continue for the rest of the season.

Can the new additions on the defense prove fruitful for a Bills team looking to shut down a red-hot Joe Burrow? Will their return to Cincinnati result in yet another embarrassing defeat? Only time will tell, and we won't have to wait long.

Admittedly, we're sad that Damar Hamlin can't be on the field today. However, expect a warm welcome before the game kicks off. Today is a special day for him and his family, it'll undoubtedly go down in the history books.
