The Buffalo Bills have some extra time to celebrate the big win over the Los Angeles Rams, so they put it to good use on Saturday by giving All-Pro safety Jordan Poyer the chance to earn a lot more money in 2022.

Per ESPN's Field Yates, the Bills and Poyer's agent, Drew Rosenhaus, agreed to raise Poyer's 2022 incentives from $500k to $2 million on Saturday. Poyer has been looking for a new deal from the Bills and Rosenhaus tabbed Saturday's agreement as a "goodwill gesture" regarding current and future negotiations.

Details haven't been released on what the new incentives entail, but odds are Poyer is off to a good start when it comes to reaching them. He recorded two tackles, an interception, and a pass breakup against the Rams.

The 10th-year safety is entering the final year of a two-year, $19.5 million extension he signed back in March 2020 and is one of the key pieces on the Bills defense.
