There's no doubt that anyone who's watched Josh Allen's rise with the Buffalo Bills over the past few years has seen glimpses of greatness. Whether it's him hurdling a defender as if he was or throwing a dot deep down the field, Allen has "it."

And although it's way too early in his career to be talking about him ending up in Canton, his recent comments make it tough for Bills fans to not think about his potential to be one of the all-time greats.

Think about it, Allen's the player under the most pressure in the entire NFL. The Bills are the favorite to win the Super Bowl over the star-studded LA Rams, the Patrick Mahomes' Kansas City Chiefs, and the GOAT-led Tampa Bay Bucs.

And yet when you listen to him talk in press conferences, he gives off the vibes of an unconcerned kid playing football in Buffalo. But beneath that is a deep work ethic to always get a little bit better.

While everyone's talking about him being the favorite to win the MVP award, Josh Allen is working on specific areas of his game to get better. And in football, it's details that win championships.

In a recent interview with Adam Schein on Sirius XM's Mad Dog Sports Radio, the Bills star quarterback described what he's been working on:

"I think ball placement on some of our shorter throws, allowing our guys to catch and run. Then secondly, eyes. Where are my eyes in zone coverage? What am I trying to throw here? Am I trying to throw the high-low? OK, let's find the linebacker responsible for this area, and let's work him instead of having my eyes in a different spot… Finding the right guy to ID and just owning the game of football as much as I can. Knowing the situation. Coach McDermott does such a great job with that in our locker room, in our team meetings, teaching us situation football. So I gotta be honed in on that."

As NFL.com writer Kevin Patra suggests, this inspires memories of the likes of Tom Brady, Peyton Manning, and Aaron Rodgers. Well-established quarterbacks that remain engaged in the details of the game.

Allen also talked about working on improving his communication with his Bills teammates.

"Whatever (OC Ken Dorsey) is calling, why is he calling it? And how can I convey that to the guys on the field?" said Allen on the radio show.

It sounds crazy to say this early in his career, but Josh Allen continues to give us reasons to believe he has what it takes to end up as one of the all-time greats in the sport. But what's great is that's not on his mind right now. It's likely the MVP and the Super Bowl aren't either.

Right now, Josh Allen's priority might just be all about the Bills beating the L.A. Rams in the NFL Kickoff.
