The Buffalo Bills were able to get back on the right track with a statement victory over the Las Vegas Raiders that showcased Josh Allen's incredible abilities on the football field with yet another premiere performance.
Allen dissected the defense and finished the game going 31-37 for 274 yards and three touchdowns. To further his dominance, Allen was able to make NFL history with the victory, which I previously wrote about.
Now, when Allen was drafted, the biggest knock on him was his alleged accuracy concerns. A slew of national pundits believed Allen wouldn't succeed in the next level because it was "impossible" for a QB to drastically increase his completion percentage from college to the pro levels.
Never tell Allen that he can't do something, once again the superstar QB has defied the odds. Sal Capaccio, Bills beat and sideline reporter, pulled up league-wide stats which show Allen as number one in the NFL for completion percentage.
Not only that, Allen is 13th in YAC and 26th and 29th respectively in average length of pass and average length of completion. While it's a small sample size, Allen once again silenced the critics and showed that nothing is impossible with him under center.
Famously, when Allen was drafted it was suggested that if the Bills succeed with Allen, the team will have outsmarted the entirety of math itself, and every single human on the planet.
With a bright future ahead, and Allen continuously proving the critics wrong, this is a huge win for him and the organization on a season with eyes set on a Super Bowl. Today, like many days before, is a great day to be a member of the Bills mafia.
