Buffalo Bills Quarterback Josh Allen leaves the tunnel at Highmark Stadium

Somehow, Josh Allen of the Buffalo Bills still has harsh critics.

The unicorn, franchise quarterback, quickly won over the hearts of the Bills Mafia. Whether it’s stiff-arming linebackers, hurdling safeties, or throwing bombs, he’s a highlight reel machine.

Despite his impressive accolades, which include having the most touchdowns by any player in their first five seasons, Allen still has a large number of nay-sayers.

Admittedly, he has a turnover problem. Allen’s exceptional numbers are somewhat shrouded by his inability, at times, to take care of the football.

Nevertheless, he’s a top-five (and he's certainly not No. 5) quarterback in the NFL.

However, a recent rankings list puts Allen behind the likes of Josh Jacobs, Lane Johnson, and Chris Lindstrom. PFF released their top players in their respective top 101 NFL players of last season. Allen found himself sitting at number 14 overall.

Bills Mafia, regardless of how the season ended last year and despite the turnovers, would be hard-pressed to find 13 better players in the NFL

In fact, without Josh Allen, it’s very likely the Bills don’t see the success they’ve enjoyed over the past few years.

Allen’s career will undoubtedly be marred if he isn’t able to get over the hump and help the team secure the franchise first ever Super Bowl.

Until then, unfortunately, we have a feeling Allen will continue to be disrespected.

Nevertheless, Allen has shattered expectations since entering the league. Once he was drafted, an article doubting his prospects in the league went viral that. Bills Mafia loves to point it out every chance they get.

The Buffalo Bills and Bills Mafia will continue to live and die on the football field at the hands of Josh Allen.

Josh Allen has already proven math wrong, let’s see what else he can prove wrong next season.
