Brandon Beane was back at it again during the NFL tradeline.
Before the metaphorical clock struck 12, Beane made a few moves that will immediately benefit the Buffalo Bills.
Specifically, the team traded for RB Nyheim Hines and Safety Dean Marlowe.
Nyheim Hines was at practice, just hours after the official trade, to join Josh Allen and company.
Needless to say, Allen was impressed.
The influx of speed into this Bills' offense is a scary thought for opposing teams.
Hopefully, the Bills' explosive offense has added an additional layer to their deadliness.
What Hines brings to the table
Hines is a pass-catching back with elite speed. A type of player Beane and the Bills have been trying to get involved with this offense for several months.
In fact, Beane has attempted to acquire a pass-catching back for a while now.
The general manager was reportedly in on the McCaffrey sweepstakes, attempted to trade for J.D McKissic, and briefly reached out about Alvin Kamara.
Needless to say, Beane and company finally got the guy they were looking for.
While fans may question the acquisition as the Bills' drafted James Cook, the veteran RB will help mold the young player.
Onto the Jets
Hines and Marlowe may seem some playing time in the Bills' upcoming matchup.
With a division game against the Jets, the Bills will need all hands on deck.
From now on, every win is one step closer to having the playoffs come through Buffalo.
Josh Allen is ready, Sunday can't come soon enough.
