The Buffalo Bills are wasting no time this offseason.

When one coach departed, another jumped in. This was the case after the Bills lost their previous wide receiver coach Chad Hall, to the Jacksonville Jaguars.

Shortly after, the announcement was made that the team has made a new hire. Tom Pelissero, an NFL insider, helped break the news on Twitter. The immediate response was mixed from Bills Mafia.

The #Bills are hiring veteran WR coach Adam Henry, per source. Henry, who has coached at LSU and with five NFL teams, most recently was Indiana’s co-OC/WR coach.

Adam Henry, a veteran at his craft, has spent time with Indiana and LSU. The revelation immediately took the internet by storm. LSU was home to one of the biggest potential free agents that Buffalo has spent a substantial amount of time looking into: Odell Beckham Jr.

Henry's ties to the coveted free agent quickly spread across social media. It's official, the Odell Beckham Jr watch is back on in the Bills Mafia circles.

After their disappointing playoff loss to the Cincinnati Bengals, there were calls for immediate and sweeping changes across the organization. Tie that in with what fans believed to be a lackluster season in terms of performance from the wide receiving core, this hire was huge.

Brandon Beane, work your magic

Brandon Beane is always a few moves ahead and it seems this recent hire could have additional motives behind it. Beane, during a press conference last season, was open about pursuing Odell Beckham Jr.

Now, the organization is tied to someone OBJ worked extensively with in the past, revitalizing the fan base and having fans look forward to the future in Buffalo.

While Buffalo is up against it in terms of cap space, surely Beane can work his magic, if needed, to secure the superstar wide receiver.

While one player won't dramatically shift the trajectory for the Bills' upcoming season, securing another weapon for Josh Allen would be massive. Taking some pressure off Stefon Diggs could be a game-changer for the team's success in passing the football.

Here's hoping the hiring is the first step towards some more big changes coming to Buffalo next season.
