The Buffalo Bills are in the midst of one of their more important offseasons.

With sky-high expectations not being met, the Bills Mafia is clamoring for sweeping changes across the board.

If fans could have their say, the entire front office and roster outside of a few big names would be due for a change. Immediately following the loss to the Cincinnati Bengals, fans were calling for McDermott, Beane, Frazier and Dorsey to be fired.

The Buffalo Bills have quickly made a few moves to their coaching staff that could have an immediate and monumental impact on the team. They wasted no time with a few regime changes since the beginning of the offseason.

Team fills position

Officially, Buffalo has filled one of their vacant coaching positions, one that quickly raised eyebrows across the community.

Buffalo announced the hiring of Joe Danna as their new safeties coach. Danna has 15 years of experience in the NFL with his most recent stint being with the Houston Texans. The newly aquired safeties coach started his NFL coaching journey in 2008 with the Atlanta Falcons.

Cover One highlighted in a flurry of tweets some of the more important aspects surrounding this hire, and what he brings to the table.

Specifically, they outlined some changes the Texans and Danna had made to their scheme that resulted in exceptional results. Some changes to the team's base scheme allowed them to disguise their base two high scheme, as Cover One illustrated in their messaging.

Biggest question mark surrounding the team

Coming into next season, with all of the question marks surrounding the team, safety may be the biggest one that needs an immediate answer.

Specifically, Jordan Poyer, an All-Pro and cornerstone for the defense, is up for a new contract. Tie that in with Damar Hamlin's uncertainty following his traumatic injury and there is still a lot of work to be done.

While nothing is guaranteed, it seems as though Jordan Poyer will no longer be with the team next season. Buffalo is currently up against the cap and Poyer's services are undoubtedly going to yield him a huge contract. Any team in the league would be lucky to have such a talented safety.

While Micah Hyde is still on the roster, which will be great from a leadership standpoint, good coaching at that position specifically is going to be a must.

Here's hoping that Danna can work his magic to make the Bills' safety core terrifying for any opposing offenses.
