Another practice, another injury for the Buffalo Bills.

The unfortunate trend has continued, once again, while the team takes the practice field for the last time in Rochester before heading to Buffalo to take on the Indianapolis Colts for their first preseason matchup.

First, it was Josh Allen, then Allen again. Over the next few days, OL Spencer Brown went down with an injury, DB Cam Lewis got hurt, Stefon Diggs had a scary incident in the endzone, and even players like RB Damien Harris and DT Ed Oliver were injured.

Now, in their most recent practice, Terrel Bernard walked off with trainers. Bernard, as Brandon Beane opened up about previously, is in the thick of the MLB position battle for the Buffalo Bills.

Outside of Bernard, newcomer DE Leonard Floyd also appeared to go down with an injury and had to be looked at by trainers.

While nothing is certain, it appears that the position has come down to Tyrel Dodson and Bernard. With Bernard leaving practice with a trainer and his injury in question, it allows Dodson and perhaps another Bills darkhorse to take some important reps at the position.

Buffalo has a Tremaine Edmunds size hole at the MLB position and had many fans thinking that they drafted his replacement in Dorian Williams. Williams has been taking more OLB reps than inside which has given Bernard, Dodson, and even Baylon Specter a chance to shine at the position.

For now, it's yet another practice where an important piece of this team had to leave with trainers. Luckily, Sean McDermott announced that Josh Allen and Stefon Diggs would not be participating in the first preseason game.

Whether it's just precautionary due to the injuries or the fact that it's Allen and Diggs and they really don't need much preseason action, we can all breathe easy.

Let's just get to Saturday with no more injuries, please.
