The Buffalo Bills WR Stefon Diggs has been front and center in the national media, once again. This time, it all stemmed from a reporter being caught on a hot mic in what can be heard as an attack on Diggs' character.

Diggs, rightfully so, responded on Twitter/X with a heartfelt message for the world. While this time of the year should be all things football, unfortunately, it's not. However, Diggs got a Hall of Fame boost hours before kickoff.

The superstar WR is a dominant force on a potent Bills offense. Yes, I know they stunk last week, but the offense is legit and Diggs is a special piece on that offense. While the team may have lost, Diggs did all he could in the team's week 1 game against the Jets.

Ahead of the matchup, former Buffalo Bills legend and Hall of Fame WR Andre Reed sent out a tweet with a couple of words about Diggs, and what makes him so special. Needless to say, it quickly went viral.

Reed had a simple, yet powerful message that read, "Just let Diggs play. He has passion. Passion for the game. Period. #wideouttalk #nfl #billsmafia"

We can all get behind that sentiment, and Diggs should as well. Just go out and do what you do best, quiet all the noise, and dominate from start to finish.

It could also be said that Reed is discussing some of the perceived antics that national pundits key in on, Diggs' sideline moments or heated exchanges in the midst of battle. Reminding the world of Diggs' passion, that he's an ultimate competitor who only wants to win.

Regardless, having a Hall of Fame WR in your corner, even if it's just a simple tweet, should give Diggs a huge boost heading into the home opener. Josh Allen is looking to fix some of his issues from the last game. Getting Diggs the ball early and often wasn't an issue last week and he should look to continue that in their upcoming contest.

As Andre Reed said, just let Diggs play.
