The Buffalo Bills almost gave the Bills Mafia a perfect Sunday of football. While the team got on the right track, Josh Allen shined, the offensive line held up, and James Cook finished with over 100 yards, it's the defensive side of the football that's making national headlines.

Specifically, in their victory, stars Leonard Floyd and Micah Hyde went down with injuries. Late in the matchup, the team announced that Hyde was suffering from a hamstring injury and that his return would be questionable. In the same message, it was announced that Leonard Floyd had an ankle injury and his status was the same.

Hyde has been battling injuries the past few weeks, but it hasn't kept him out of much football. Before the OT period against the New York Jets, Hyde was seen walking off with trainers and wouldn't return to the game. Earlier, he had suffered an injury at practice and his status, for a brief time, was questionable.

Luckily, Hyde was able to fight through and show up in a big way on the football field. He's a premiere defender that we're just happy is competing once again. For those who may not remember, Hyde was injured in the team's home opener against the Titans and didn't play another snap for the team last season.

As for Floyd, Von Miller's former teammate, his injury made us equally nervous. With Miller out on PUP, recovering from a torn ACL, Floyd has been filling in nicely for the eventual Hall of Fame pass rusher. His presence has been felt early and often and allows the team to not rush getting Miller back.

However, Floyd going down with an injury does leave a pretty decent hole on the defensive side of the football. Luckily, Sean McDermott opened up on the two injuries and gave the Bills Mafia a big reason to celebrate

McDermott is considering both of their injuries "day-to-day" which should put them in line to compete in their upcoming contest against the Washington Commanders.

Getting two of the best defensive players back on the field will be big for the team's chances of victory. Fingers crossed that the two can be okay and ready to take on the world in the next contest.

For right now, just stay healthy.
