With the Buffalo Bills set to play in London on Sunday, New York is set to bend the rules a little bit. By 120 minutes, to be precise.

New York State Governor Kathy Hochul took to Twitter/X to share she was "directing the State Liquor Authority to extend the deadline for special permits, so sports bars and restaurants can serve as early as 8 a.m."

According to the New York Liquor Authority, "On-premises (bar or lounge) sales are prohibited on weekdays between 4 AM and 8 AM, and Sundays between 4 AM and 10 AM."

The special permit that Gov. Hochul is directing the State Liquor Authority will push that to 8 a.m. so that members of the Bills Mafia can get started enjoying a drink an hour and a half before the game kicks off on Sunday at 9:30 a.m. ET.

The Bills, who are fresh off of a massive win against the Miami Dolphins, will be taking on the Jacksonville Jaguars, who already played their first game in London of the season last weekend versus the Atlanta Falcons.

The showdown will take place at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium and fans should be able to watch exclusively through NFL Network and NFL+, by extension.

Oh, well. If they're going to change the law for this game, then it's time to start making plans, Bills Mafia.
