Ahead of their third clash in the playoffs in four seasons, and the first in Buffalo, the Bills and Chiefs are each dealing with their fair share of injuries.
Buffalo has already ruled out several players, including Gabe Davis and Christian Benford, while Terrel Bernard's status remains unknown.
Now, the Chiefs have ruled out one of their offensive playmakers, with others potentially to come.
The Chiefs have ruled out wide receiver Kadarius Toney with injuries to his hip and ankle. Linebacker Willie Gay is questionable with a neck injury, as is defensive end Charles Omenihu with an illness.
Toney had three catches for 25 yards in the first matchup between these two teams. He was also the subject of the controversial offside call that negated a potential game-winning touchdown for the Chiefs. Omenihu had 7.5 sacks this season, and Gay is a great presence in the middle of the field. The loss of Toney will make the Chiefs dip into their depth at receiver, but the losses of Omenihu and Gay would be very impactful to their defense.
