The Buffalo Bills put fans through an emotional rollercoaster after it was reported that superstar safety Micah Hyde was missing practice after suffering an apparent back injury.
Hyde, a cornerstone on the Bills' dominant defense, hasn't played in a regular season game since suffering an injury against the Tennessee Titans in the home opener last season. Immediately, fans thought the worst had happened.
However, the latest update is sure to bring a smile to fans' faces as it's been reported that Hyde is good to go, was back at practice, and has been removed from any injury designation. A huge boost for a team looking to make a statement with the season-opener in just a few days.
Alaina Getzenberg, ESPN reporter for the Buffalo Bills, helped break the news about Hyde and his injury status. He's a full-go for the Monday Night Football contest against the Jets.
Hyde and Jordan Poyer, alongside Tre White, are difference-makers in the backfield and can wreak havoc on opposing defenses. It cannot be overstated just how important their health is to the success of the team.
While the offseason was full of some bumps and bruises, surprising retirements, and season-ending injuries, Buffalo has come into the regular season with a full bill of health for all their starters (minus Von Miller).
Buffalo has a tough task ahead of them as Aaron Rodgers and the high-powered Jets offense are looking to make some noise in the division. With Hyde back in coverage and Allen ready to take the world by storm, the Bills should like their chances.
Football is almost here, and the Bills seem ready for battle.
