It didn’t take Von Miller long to formally reintroduce himself to his former team in the Bills’ dominating 31-10 win over the Rams.
The Bills signed Miller to an expensive six-year deal worth up to $120 million in the offseason, and he already looks like he’s going to be worth every penny.
Miller, who won a Super Bowl with the Rams last season, was a menace all night.
Not only did he sack Matthew Stafford twice, but he was constantly creating opportunities for his fellow pass rushers to get to the Rams’ quarterback.
The Bills finished the game having sacked Stafford seven times.
Jordan Phillips and A.J. Epenesa were each responsible for 1.5 sacks while Greg Rousseau and Carlos Basham each chipped in a sack off the edge.
Miller had plenty of options in free agency, but chose the Bills because of the pieces they have in place.
The two-time Super Bowl winner knows what a championship team looks like. If Thursday’s beat down was any indication, Miller and his defense could be on their way to some precious hardware this February.
