The Buffalo Bills are dealing with some off-season drama.
And it involves a former first-round draft pick.
Bills defensive lineman Ed Oliver appears to want out of Buffalo.
The former Houston standout posted a message on Instagram earlier this month that said "Show me the money or [I don't] wanna talk".
On Wednesday, Oliver posted a message that was a bit more cryptic.
The Louisiana native posted an Instagram story with these lyrics:
"You tellin' me you fallin' out of love with me Hope you can find someone to love you better than I did."
Oliver then posted this image
It certainly feels like that's his way of saying goodbye to Buffalo.
Of course, the Bills don't have to actually trade Oliver. In fact, they probably shouldn't. He's a useful player for Buffalo, he just doesn't deserve a big extension. The Bills might be better off keeping him in 2023 and just letting him walk in free agency after the season.
The draft pick they'd receive would be nice, but Oliver's presence on the interior defensive line might be more important for the Bills in 2023.
