The Buffalo Bills have been one of the more dominant teams in the NFL over the past few seasons. Since Josh Allen asserted himself as a top-five QB in the NFL, the team has been borderline unstoppable.
Pair the high-powered offense with a superstar-like defense and the Bills roster, on paper, is one of the very best the NFL has to offer. Last season, the team went 13-3 and won the AFC East for the third consecutive season.
Despite their recent success and the rise of Josh Allen, there are still those who doubt the team. You can make the argument that failed expectations should lower them on the NFL hierarchy. However, expectations are premeditated resentments and the Bills have continuously been one of the more dominant teams in the league.
Emmanuel Acho listed his top-five AFC teams and it didn't include the Buffalo Bills. Acho's list had, in order, the Kansas City Chiefs, Miami Dolphins, Cincinnati Bengals, Baltimore Ravens, and New York Jets.
Acho's list quickly caused a firestorm on social media with the Bills Mafia begging to know why the team was nowhere to be found. Immediately, Acho had a response that didn't sit right with the Bills Mafia.
Buffalo, according to Acho, was going to be sixth on his list. Specifically, the addition of Aaron Rodgers to the Jets pushed Buffalo further down the list. That, and Acho had Buffalo winning the Super Bowl last season with Josh Allen taking home the MVP. Because of his failed take, Acho believes that the team has peaked and their best days are behind them.
Bills Mafia keeps their receipts. After the smoke has settled and the dust has cleared in the upcoming season, they will be sure to visit Acho's take if he were wrong.
Buffalo is bringing back Jordan Poyer to one of the best defensive units in football along with Von Miller. On offense, the team brought in multiple weapons for Josh Allen while spending important draft capital to build their offensive line.
It'll be tough to win the division for the fourth consecutive season. However, something the Bills Mafia knows all too well after the historic run the New England Patriots went on, you have to beat the best to be the best.
Getting a Bills team with a chip on their shoulder, bringing back one of the best units in the NFL, with a top-five quarterback now loaded up with weapons will make for some memorable football.
