The Buffalo Bills are out, reportedly.

These past few days the Bills Mafia have been glued to their phones and television screens, trying to squeeze every ounce of information they can get from One Bills Drive and the national media.

Since it was reported that the Arizona Cardinals may be shopping DeAndre Hopkins and that Buffalo was a top destination, the Bills Mafia have been excited.

This isn't the first, and won't be the last, time that Bills fans have gone all-in hoping the team will trade for top talent. In fact, it's not even the first time the Arizona Cardinals have been involved in the mix.

Over the past few seasons, there were rumors that Zach Ertz and J.J Watt were considering coming to Buffalo. In both instances the players chose Arizona. Just another wild wrinkle in the DeAndre Hopkins to Buffalo hype train.

Now, it appears we may have an official answer on the likelihood of Buffalo landing the superstar wide reciever. Well, Sort of.

The Athletic reporter Tim Graham revealed on social media that, barring any significant developments, Buffalo will not be trading for the superstar wide reciever.

Graham is in Arizona and was reportedly talking with NFL owners. The reporter opened up further after fans called out that he was at a bar, reporting on the matter.

Needless to say, some of Bills Mafia weren't too happy with the announcement. The thought of DeAndre Hopkins to Buffalo is exciting, and the recent development squashing those rumors was defeating, to some.

Barring any significant development is the biggest point of contention with the message. While things don't look good now, this doesn't mean that the team won't trade for the wide reciever.

In fact, just a few hours before Graham's announcement, the Chiefs Athletic reporter, Nate Taylor, announced that the Chiefs were unlikely to trade for the reciever as well.

Fans quickly pointed out the closeness of the messaging could mean that teams are still interested, but want it to appear that they may be out. If this is for trade negotiations, it could be a ploy to get Arizona to lower their asking price.

Regardless, at this point in time Buffalo is out. There has been no concrete evidence as to how far the communications went between Arizona and Buffalo. Brandon Beane, in fact, reminded everyone to not believe everything they see on social media when asked about Hopkins and the trade rumors.

With the draft rapidly approaching, things may change.

Bills Mafia will continue to watch out for any significant developments in this wild offseason storyline.
