Josh Allen is the franchise quarterback the Buffalo Bills have waited decades for.

However, that doesn't mean the talented, big-armed quarterback doesn't have faults. With the unfortunate end to the season, analysts and former coaches are doing a deep dive into exactly what's wrong with this current Bills team.

One thing is for certain, next year is going to look vastly different for the Buffalo Bills and its organization. Aside from Josh Allen, Stefon Diggs, and a few other big named contracted players, things are going to be changing.

Hall of Fame coach speaks out

Former NFL coach and hall of famer Bill Parcels discussed with Syracuse.com what had happened with the team, and what they must do this offseason.

To start with, Parcels praised the Bills and their team. "I love their team" discussing the Buffalo Bills roster. He then followed up with an excellent point on the superstar quarterback that provides another level of insight for someone who isn't part of the organization or Bills Mafia.

"There were times when it seemed as though Buffalo’s offense just asked Allen to do something spectacular to pull out games this season," Parcells said in the article. "He came through quite a few times for the team, but that can only work so much in today’s NFL."

The former head coach then pointed to one area that all fans can agree needs work, immediately, the offensive line:

"While there are certainly some talented players around him in Buffalo, the team’s weapons and offensive linemen do not compare to the starting rosters of the final four teams remaining in the playoffs."

The big issue with Buffalo

Admittedly, Buffalo had one of the worst offensive lines in the NFL this season. In order for Buffalo to take that next step to achieve the franchise's first-ever Super Bowl, work needs to be done immediately.

Josh Allen is a wrecking ball in the NFL. The franchise quarterback can hurdle defenders, stiff arm linebackers, and throw 60 yards while evading pass rushers to perfectly place the ball for a receiver. However, he simply needs to be shielded up front better.

Bills Mafia will live and die by Josh Allen. However, it's inarguable that he needs some help up front.

Here's hoping Brandon Beane will take the advice of one of the best coaches to ever do it and get Allen some assistance, and quickly.
