The Buffalo Bills’ first-round pick in the 2023 NFL Draft will be represented at the NFLPA Rookie Premiere event later this month.
Tight end Dalton Kincaid is the only one of the Bills’ six draft picks represented at the rookie premiere, per NFL Media’s Tom Pelissero via an NFL Management Council memo to teams. Kincaid was the 25th overall pick in the first round of the draft. There are 45 total players heading to the event.
Here’s the full list of invitees:
Here’s how the NFLPA describes the Rookie Premiere:
“NFLPA Rookie Premiere provides partners with unmatched access to 40 of the NFL's newest stars at their first major business and marketing event following the NFL Draft. This is one of the most valuable opportunities available to NFLPA partners because it's the first time to connect directly with professional football's most promising and marketable young players–all in one place—and build content and relationships that extend into the season and beyond.”
There are only three defenders and no offensive linemen or specialists on the list of rookies who got the invite. The Bills’ second- and third-round picks were guard O’Cyrus Torrence and linebacker Dorian Williams. They didn’t take another offensive skill-position player until the fifth round when they selected Florida wide receiver Justin Shorter.
Kincaid is one of four tight ends invited to attend. He was the only tight end selected in the first round of the 2023 NFL Draft. The Utah product caught 70 passes for 890 yards with eight touchdowns last season.
