The Buffalo Bills are in for arguably their most crucial game of the season.
The team travels to Foxborough to take on Bill Belichick and the New England Patriots. And Bills Mafia knows all too well the torment that has been caused at the hands of Belichick.
Patriots' reign over the division
For the better part of two decades, the Patriots ruled supreme over the division, embarrassing the Bills more often than not.
Now, the tides have turned as Josh Allen and the Bills are looking for their third consecutive AFC East division crown.
Belichick exposed
Before the matchup, an interesting stat about Belichick's defense has come to light. This is great news for the Buffalo Bills. Specifically, Josh Allen.
Josh Allen, historically, has played extremely well against the Patriots and Bill Belichick.
The eight-time Super Bowl winner's kryptonite is Josh Allen's dominance over the past few years.
Even with his daunted defense, Belichick hasn't had much of an answer for the potential NFL MVP and co. Allen, after a few less-than-perfect games, will look to bounce back in this highly-anticipated matchup.
But more importantly, it appears that Buffalo kicks it up an extra notch every time they play the Patriots.
From the perspective of the Bills Mafia, this should soothe some of the hurt the fanbase has endured over the years.
The Josh Allen Effect
No one will forget Josh Allen's magical performance in the playoffs last season. More importantly, the historical significance of his performance.
This will be no cakewalk as the Patriots still match up incredibly well against the Bills. Tie that in with the recent string of injuries the Bills are dealing with and this game has all the makings for a dogfight.
Nevertheless, the Bills will look to Josh Allen to lead them to victory.
If recent history is any indication, Bills Mafia should like their chances.
