One Bills player has an opportunity to cash in during the team’s Week 18 matchup with the New England Patriots.

While winning the game and locking up the No. 2 seed in the AFC is of the utmost importance, Buffalo Bills wide receiver Isaiah McKenzie will also have money on his mind.

Prior to the season, McKenzie signed a two-year deal with Buffalo worth $4.4 million. Included in that deal is a performance-based incentive that is well within striking distance.

As it stands, McKenzie has recorded 40 catches for 404 yards and four receiving touchdowns in his 2022 campaign.

McKenzie has escalators in his deal that afford him significant bumps in pay so long as he meets certain performance requirements. Buffalo’s slot receiver is rewarded $100,000 at each of four catch makers (30, 40, 50, and 60 receptions), per Sports Illustrated.

Having already pocketed an extra $200,000 by meeting his reception numbers, there is still plenty of money left on the table.

McKenzie has already banked $50,000 for hitting 250 receiving yards in the regular season. He's also added $100,000 for eclipsing the 350-yard mark. Another $100,000 awaits McKenzie if he’s able to total 46 receiving yards this weekend, bringing him to 450 yards on the year.

Twice has McKenzie recorded 46 yards in a game this season, making this task seem relatively feasible.

There are definitely larger things at play for Buffalo this week, especially considering the recovery updates surrounding Damar Hamlin’s injury. That being said, look for Josh Allen to throw McKenzie’s way if the game is in hand.
