The Buffalo Bills are one of the most dangerous teams in the NFL right now, and it shows with the latest sign of respect.
After defeating the Pittsburgh Steelers, the Bills will now host the Kansas City Chiefs in the divisional round. And typically no one is willing to bet against Patrick Mahomes in the playoffs.
But that's not the case anymore.
Heading into Sunday's matchup at Highmark Stadium, the Bills have emerged as two and a half point favorites over the Chiefs.
That's got to feel good.
The Bills have already beat the Chiefs once this season in a very, very controversial game.
Towards the end of their last game in December, the officials called back an impressive play by the Chiefs that would have resulted in a potential game-winning touchdown, but receiver Kadarius Toney was ruled offsides.
Mahomes was beyond upset after the game and continued to talk about it afterwards.
But regardless, it was a hard-fought win that the Bills deserved based on the way they had played.
The Chiefs advanced to the next round after defeating the Miami Dolphins in a frigid game at Arrowhead Stadium. And now Mahomes will travel for his first-ever away postseason game, forced to play in Highmark Stadium in front of Bills Mafia.
So with this sign of respect, the Bills should use it as additional motivation, with Allen looking to get his first win over Mahomes in the playoffs.
