The Buffalo Bills' crushing loss to the New York Jets wasn't the biggest news story out of One Bills Drive yesterday.

Instead, I previously wrote about an instance during the player's and coaches media availability where a reporter was joking about Stefon Diggs and how he does whatever he wants. You can watch the video below.

While the reporters were laughing, some thought this was rather malicious. Hindsight is 20/20 and the reporter, Maddy Glab, came out with a public apology letting the world know it was a mistake and was only in good fun, that nothing was malicious.

In her apology, Glab provided some important context, "For context, media was waiting for players to come out for press conferences when a reporter [jokingly] told me to go get Stefon Diggs," Glab continued. "I said I don’t have control over him – Stef marches to the [beat] of his own drum and I love that about him. He has a playful relationship with our video department, so that’s why I said he probably wouldn’t say yes to me grabbing him for an interview."

Maddy finished her apology with the following, "I should not have said what I said, and I apologize for that. Stef is not in the wrong, I am."

We all make mistakes, and we have the utmost respect for her owning up to this almost immediately. Diggs and the coaches have responded, but it's water under the bridge at this point.

Maddy is an excellent reporter and a huge part of the Buffalo Bills organization, this one moment won't define her brilliant career.
