The Buffalo Bills are the hottest team in football, winning their last five games to get to 11-6 and win their fourth consecutive AFC East title.
In doing so, the Bills earned the No. 2 seed in the AFC playoffs and will host the Pittsburgh Steelers on Sunday in the Wildcard round.
While Bills fans will be happy to have at least one home playoff game, the conditions are expected to less than ideal.
The current forecast for Sunday in Buffalo is calling for the temperature to be approximately 23 degrees, with a feels-like temperature of 7 degrees. On top of that, winds of 25 miles per hour, and wind gusts up to 52 miles per hour, are expected, as well.
If you remember in 2021, the Bills played the Patriots at home in a game that featured severe wins and impacted the Bills' offense in a massive way. Josh Allen finished the game only completing 15 of 30 passes for 145 yards. The Patriots only threw the ball three times and ran for 222 yards on the Bills' defense.
The Bills will hope history doesn't repeat itself. The Steelers finished 10th in the NFL in rush success rate this season, and the Bills' defense finished 24th in defensive EPA per play against the run. If Pittsburgh can establish a run game, and Buffalo can't get anything going through the air, an upset could be on the horizon.
