The Monday Night Football matchup between the Buffalo Bills and Cincinnati Bengals has all the makings for an all-time classic.

Cincinnati is red-hot while enjoying a seven-game winning streak. Buffalo is also on a tear, sitting on a six-game winning streak themselves.

Joe Burrow versus Josh Allen is every football fan's dream. The elite, franchise quarterbacks will look to put on a show under the bright lights.

Implications

Obviously, playoff implications are the biggest takeaway from the game. The Bills will lock up the number-one seed in the AFC with a Buffalo win and a Kansas City loss.

Even though the Bills are the current betting favorites to secure the victory, several analysts have their doubts.

Regardless, it appears that the Bills may have the not-so-secret blueprint for victory, and it's actually quite simple.

Two words, Stefon Diggs.

Diggs is HIM

Last week, Diggs saw a season low in targets. For Buffalo to take down Cincinnati, they are going to have to feed the star wide receiver early and often. Josh Allen may want to focus even more on Diggs after seeing what he has been able to do on Monday Night Football, specifically.

In the locker room and among Bills Mafia, Diggs has been called "Him" for good reason. Since joining Buffalo, Diggs has been the true number-one receiver and has taken the offense to an entirely new level.

Rewind to the beginning of the season when the Bills took down the Titans during their home opener on Monday Night Football. In that game, Diggs finished with 12 catches for 148 yards and three touchdowns.

The Josh Allen effect

Josh Allen and Stefon Diggs have proven to be an elite tandem in the NFL since joining forces a few years ago.

If Allen can find Diggs early and often, Bills Mafia should like the team's chances to secure a victory.

There's been plenty of bulletin board material leading up to the matchup. Now, all that's left is to play the game.

Bigger than sports

The city of Buffalo has overcome so much in such a short season. Getting a victory and being one step closer to the number one seed in the AFC would have all the makings for a Cinderella story.

Where else would you rather be than right here, right now?
