Many thought the Buffalo Bills landed a sure-fire starter when they drafted former Oklahoma Sooner Cody Ford in the second round of the 2019 NFL Draft.
Unfortunately, that wasn't the case. Ford struggled all through his career with the Bills and was traded to the Arizona Cardinals Monday in exchange for a fifth-round pick.
ESPN's Adam Schefter was first to report the news.
The Bills traded up to select Ford at No. 38 overall. He appeared in 38 games from 2019-2021 that included 29 starts. He simply never lived up to his second-round expectations and will now try and make an impression with the Cardinals.
